I was home having lunch today and my wife, who doesn't work Fridays, suggested that we go for a quick ride, making it also clear she was talking about the Harley, although it got me thinking momentarily about whether full helmets were sexy (or a possible replacement for paper bags in situations unlike my own).
Kitted up in 10 minutes flat we we off into the sun and breeze and clocked up a quick 50k's or so before I dropped her off at home, went back to work and she went off to pick up the kids from school. Chatting later about it, it seems that the new Shoei helmet was a little better, but still needs some wearing in and very importantly, the new Vance and Hines slip-ons got the seal of approval "not too loud".
