After a quick dry off, a quick change and a small break in the weather we were back on the Harley's heading to Marborough (wet weather gear on).  Astoundingly on the way in we rode through an area where large hail stones were piled up on the sides of the roads and the trees had been hit so hard small branches and leaves littered the roadway. 

The new rattle in the Harley had been causing me some concern so we were heading to Melbourne to get it checked out.  We were only about 160k's away and were looking at trying to get there by 10am so we could make it back for the afternoon's festivities at the Rally.

The route took us towards Bendigo and then a lefty towards the city. 

A quick breakfast at Albury and it was time to head into Victoria and make our way to Maryborough.  The weather DID NOT look inviting and today's decision was to start the day with the wet weather pants on and cross our fingers.  The jackets went on too at the last minute and a good thing that was!
